Avening Hall presents: Hannah Georgas live at St. John’s United Church. Doors open at 7:30pm and show starts at 8.
Acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Hannah Georgas crafts textured pop songs with lyrics about heartbreak & change, coupled with incredibly catchy hooks. After her debut EP in 2009, Hannah released four full-length albums to acclaim in outlets at home and abroad including The Guardian, The New York Times, Pitchfork and NPR Music. She has become a household name in her native Canada; headlining on festival bills, garnering multiple nominations, including three for the Polaris Music Prize & five JUNO nominations ranging from ‘Best New Artist’ to ‘Songwriter of the Year’.

Wellness Weekend
The inaugural Wellness Weekend featuring the Creemore Kindness Festival on Saturday and Wellness Day on Sunday. Partake in three kindness ripples; kindness for self, community and the planet.
Farms for Change
Farms for Change is an annual event to raise funds to provide local, organic produce to low-income communities and good food organizations throughout Southern Ontario.
This event is run by an army of volunteers, including our amazing community of chefs, friends and neighbours. All proceeds from the event go to growing regenerative organic produce on the farm for free distribution to local Good Food Organizations.
Farms for Change is run in close partnership with Community Food Centres Canada.
Tickets go on sale, March 25th at 10am.

Summer Festival at Purple Hill Lavender Farm
Our Summer Festival is June 28th and 29th from 10am-6pm. Live music, vendors, kids activities!
Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after. All strollers, wagons and mobility devices are welcome. Please keep in mind that this is a working farm, so passengers in these devices may be in for a bumpy ride.

Trick of Treat on Mill St.
Mill Street turns into a centralized location for businesses and residents to hand out candy and enjoy the little ones in their costumes. A portion of the street will be closed to vehicles, allowing for pedestrian-friendly and safe space.

Gallery Opening - Transformation
We are very excited to announce our upcoming show TRANSFORMATION featuring new work from artists David Brown and Sue A. Miller. David Brown’s sculptural encaustic forms fold and shift like geological formations, while Sue Miller’s atmospheric landscapes dissolve into abstraction. Though distinct in execution, their works share a language of movement, texture, and transformation. The show will run March 28 - May 5, 2025.

Tea & History
Purple Hill Arts & Heritage Society invites you to a free event! Clearview’s long farming history will be featured and honoured at our upcoming Tea and History event March 23rd at the Creemore Station on the Green.
Hear stories and history from a number of prominent local farming families- the Milsaps, Flacks, Metherals, Millers, and Timmons families through a panel discussion moderated by agricultural journalist William (Jim) Algie and Willy Waterton. Topics about how farming has changed over the years, the history of how these families’ personal farms have changed and adapted, current challenges and opportunities, and what they see for the future that will preserve their family farms.
In addition to our panel discussion there will be a photo expose of people and memories.
